People usually seek therapy for various reasons such as relationship issues, parenting, work, money, life stages, divorce, grief, trauma and others. However, we have the tendency not to seek therapy due to the embarrassment or shame of reaching out to seek help. Unfortunately, therapy has been misunderstood and seen negative rather than positive. Therapy is a tool that helps resolve a wide range of issues. Ultimately, a person who seeks therapy is wise and demonstrates a sense of wisdom and healthier lifestyle than he or she knows.

Each case is unique and may require different accommodations depending on the need(s), and goal(s) in progress. Some clients may need to only meet once or some a couple times. Although it is recommended to finish the suggested amount of therapy sessions, clients are not forced to continue and may stop at anytime.
Many therapists are skilled and use play therapy. Young children communicate through the universal language of play, since they temporarily have limited verbal skills. Parents are usually involved in sessions and provided with skills to help their child.
